McKinnie Ave intersection shuts down for sewer installation

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- Starting Monday, a Fort Wayne intersection will be shut down through the end of June as crews work to improve drainage.Fort Wayne City Utilities announced, in a press release, that McKinnie Avenue at the Wayne Trace intersection will be closed to all traffic while crews install a storm sewer.The hope of the new storm sewer is to improve drainage and protect neighborhood homes.
Work is expected to be completed by the end of June. Fort Wayne City Utilities suggests motor
