Man who opened fire in Georgetown Kroger handed 33-year sentence

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The man who fired shots inside a northeast Fort Wayne Kroger last year was sentenced Friday to more than three decades in prison.Richard Klaff Jr., 21, pleaded guilty in March to three counts of attempted murder. Friday, a judge in Allen Superior Court ordered Klaff to serve 33 years behind bars.On May 23, 2024, Klaff opened fire inside the Kroger at Georgetown while streaming on Facebook Live.
