Man in life-threatening condition after shooting in southeast Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Fort Wayne Police Department (FWPD) is investigating a shooting in the 6000 block of Waycross Drive, according to dispatchers.The shooting happened just before 8:30 p.m. Thursday.A man was injured and taken to a hospital and now has life-threatening injuries, according to FWPD.Detectives are investigating and talking to neighbors in the area; some residents told WANE 15 they heard five shots.
