Man dead after shooting near Lutheran Park

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Fort Wayne Police Department is on the scene of a shooting at W Wildwood Avenue & S Wayne Avenue near Lutheran Park, according to dispatchers.It happened just before 7:30 p.m. Monday.Police say once medics arrived, they found a man with multiple gunshot wounds. Life-saving measures were unsuccessful, the man died from his injuries.Officers are still on the scene gathering information.
