Man critically injured after being shot by 2-year-old

CHESTERFIELD COUNTY, Va. (WRIC) – A 2-year-old in Virginia accidentally shot their mother's boyfriend Monday morning, according to police, leaving the man in critical condition.Police say it appears that the man was preparing to leave his house Monday morning and had placed his handgun on a nearby chair when the young child picked up the gun.It is believed that the child accidentally fired the gun, shooting the man.
