Kendallville couple finds winning Powerball ticket on Christmas Day, hours before expiration
KENDALLVILLE, Ind. (WANE) -- A Kendallville couple is $1 million dollars richer after finding the winning Powerball ticket just hours before it was set to expire.
In a release from the Hoosier Lottery, a couple from Kendallville arrived at the Hoosier Lottery Prize Payment Office in downtown Indianapolis, just five hours before their winning ticket was set to expire.
The couple, who has asked to remain anonymous, found their winning ticket between the seats of their car early Christmas morning.
