Honor Flight Northeast Indiana marks milestone 50th flight

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Honor Flight Northeast Indiana takes to the skies for its monumental 50th flight. The veterans from World War II and all wars after flew directly from Fort Wayne to Washington, D.C. for a day trip in the nation's capital. Once they arrive in D.C., the local veterans will stop at the WWII Memorial. Before flying back to Summit City, the group will stop at as many memorials as possible. The public is invited to welcome the veterans home on Wednesday, April
