Gas leak causes evacuation at Southtown Walmart

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) -- A gas leak has caused the Fort Wayne Fire Department to evacuate an area Walmart.
Dispatch confirmed with WANE 15 that a gas leak was confirmed at the Southtown Crossing Walmart located at 7502 N Southtown Crossing in Fort Wayne's south side. The gas leak caused Walmart to be evacuated.WANE 15 confirmed with a worker that the store has reopened. WANE 15 crew at the scene said they saw no emergency vehicles as of 6 p.m.
