Fire heavily damages north Fort Wayne home

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - Smoke filled the air in a neighborhood off Lima and Ludwig roads after a fire Monday.The Fort Wayne Fire Department responded around 4 p.m. to a house in the 1300 block of Orlando Drive.When they arrived, the home showed multiple areas of fire and smoke.Two homeowners inside were able to get out safely on their own.No one was hurt.Firefighters said the hot weather "added to the difficulty" of fighting the fire, which consumed much of the attic.Crews remained on the scen
