Fire crews douse flames, smoke at Metal X

WATERLOO, Ind. (WANE) – Firefighters were called to Metal X in Waterloo Saturday evening after a pile of scrap caught fire.
Firefighters were called to the business at 295 Commerce Street around 5 p.m.
Black smoke can be seen billowing from Metal X in Waterloo.Black smoke could be seen billowing from a pile of metal for several miles.
One witness told NewsChannel 15 flames were intially shooting 25 to 30 feet in the air.
