Crews respond to fire at apartment complex on edge of Fort Wayne

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) - The Fort Wayne Fire Department (FWFD) responded to a fire Tuesday afternoon on the southern edge of Fort Wayne.Dispatch confirmed the fire at 7911 Decatur Road. Crews responded around noon to the Arbors of South Towne Square apartments.According to the FWFD, the fire started in a bedroom on the third floor of the apartment complex, and firefighters found smoke throughout the third floor when they arrived.
