Cold persists with more snow chances on the way

After a weather system brought accumulating snow to a portion of our area on Saturday, we've been experiencing scattered lake effect snow today behind that system. The good news though is temperatures above freezing have allowed some of the snow from Saturday to melt and prevented most of the snow today from accumulating.Lake effect snow wraps up this evening, with skies turning partly cloudy.
