Angel Tree program meets need with increased sign-ups

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE) – Hundreds of families' Christmas wishes have been fulfilled this holiday season, thanks to the Fort Wayne Salvation Army.According to Social Services Director Timothy Smith, all tags from 45 angel trees around Allen County have been swiped and retuned to Salvation Army headquarters attached to boxes and bags of gifts.These tags included just under 900 families, with almost 3,000 children.
