Allen County Sheriff speaks on mental health issues in the jail

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WANE)— One day after an inmate in the Allen County Jail committed suicide, the sheriff spoke about mental health issues and how the jail deals with them.Allen County Sheriff, Troy Hershberger, said in a recent report filed with the state, there were 44 inmates in the jail that were suffering from "acute mental health problems."
