Allen County Coroner's Office identifies man killed in US 27 crash

ALLEN COUNTY, Ind. (WANE) -- The Allen County Coroner's Office has identified a man who died Wednesday evening after a crash on U.S. 27 south of Fort Wayne.The coroner identified the man as 77-year-old Lawrence Oren Gillespie Sr. of Fort Wayne. An autopsy showed he died from multiple blunt force injuries and the manner of death was an accident.Deputies with the Allen County Sheriff's Department were seen investigating near the intersection of U.S. 27 and Flatrock Road Wednesday.
