Windsor area wallops previous daily rainfall record

Environment Canada, via the Windsor Star, reports 2.49 inches (63.4 millimeters) were registered at the Windsor Airport. The previous record for Sept. 29 was the 1.44 inches (36.8 millimeters) recorded in 1973.
