After 160-plus years, farmhouse remains rock-solid and ghost-free

Built by New Yorker Hiram Rhodes after he came to West Michigan in 1837, the stucco-sided house has been a home to just six families since it was built on a fieldstone foundation sometime in the late 1840s.
