World View Four Satellite Set For Launch Saturday

DENVER (CBS4)– A Colorado-built satellite scheduled to launch on Friday has been rescheduled for Saturday. The World View Four satellite suffered a minor leak so the launch on Friday was scrubbed.The satellite is essentially a big camera that will take high resolution photos from space for things like Google maps.Three companies in Colorado played a major role in the mission; Lockheed Martin built the satellite, United Launch Alliance built the rocket, and Westminster’s Digital Globe
