Worker trapped in machine at Denver industrial plant

One person died in after they were caught in a machine at KBP Coil Coaters at 3600 E. 44th Ave., on Tuesday morning, according to Melissa Taylor, spokeswoman for the Denver Fire Department
The worker was trapped in a machine called an aluminum splitter, Taylor said, and the worker was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to the company’s web site, it is “one of North America’s largest independent buyers of aluminum and steel coil.”
