Winter Storm Causes Power Outages In Steamboat Springs

STEAMBOAT SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) – Power went out across Steamboat Springs at 10 a.m. Friday due to a winter storm making its way into the state.
Heavy snow was thick on the power lines and putting pressure on the power poles, some requiring new anchors.
When the snow melts and falls in chunks, the lines rebound, also creating stress on the power poles.
