Wildfire Gives Superior Homeowners A Scare

SUPERIOR, Colo. (CBS4) – A wildfire that came within 50 yards of some houses in Superior is fully contained.
The fire broke out on Friday at 11:30 a.m. near Highway 128 and McCaslin Boulevard in Boulder County.

The fire grew to approximately 20 acres, and it burned close to homes in the town of Superior. It also forced the closure of Highway 128 by the Broomfield line.
