Weekend Traffic Alert: US 6 Flyover To I-25 To Close

DENVER (CBS4) – The flyover from eastbound US 6 to northbound Interstate 25 will be closed for the weekend starting Friday at 10 p.m. and going until 5 a.m. on Monday.
The Colorado Department of Transportation says crews will be replacing expansion joint glands.Those are the rubber strips that protect the bridge deckfrom intruding water, dirt and debris.
The posted detour is a journey, so I suggest avoiding the area altogether and using Alameda, Santa Fe or Colfax to access onto northbound
