Warning System Malfunction Gives 4 A.M. Wake Up Call

LONGMONT, Colo. (CBS4)– The outdoor emergency warning systems in Longmont malfunctioned early Thursday morning.The warning system set off a tone about 4 a.m. Thursday that is not normal for the system. The ton continued for about one hour.Longmont city officials said the system is designed to be shut off remotely but that didn’t happen.
