Warmer Weather With Summer Storms

DENVER (CBS4) – On the weather map we have the tail end of a cold front moving south along the Colorado/Kansas state line. This front helped spark a few large thunderstorms south of Colorado Springs down into southern Colorado. A severe storm produced a tornado near the town of Walsh in Baca County. Walsh also had baseball size hail and trees blown down in strong damaging winds. The town of Holly had 1.5 inches of rain in about 10 minutes from a big afternoon storm Sunday.
