Veterinarians Work To Save Malnourished Dog

DENVER (CBS4) – Veterinarians in Denver are trying to help to save a dog who is extremely malnourished. Westminster police are looking into the case as possibly one of animal neglect.
Officers say the dog’s owner surrendered him on Tuesday.(credit: Ho-Bo Care Boxer Rescue)
Caretakers say he is still not eating on his own.

The Ho-Bo Care Boxer Rescue named the dog Spartan, saying he will need to be strong in order to survive.
