Vernon Davis’s Short Stint With Broncos Ends

(The Sports Xchange) – Free agent tight end Vernon Davis has agreed to a one-year contract with the Washington Redskins.
Davis, who was a first-round pick out of Maryland in 2006, spent 10 seasons with the 49ers until he was traded to the Denver Broncos in October 2015. He played nine games with the Broncos last season but had just 20 receptions and five drops.
