Vehicle strikes trailer in Weld County; two horses killed

A pickup crashed into a horse trailer Monday, and two horses had to be euthanized because of injuries, the State Patrol said.
Nate Reid, State Patrol spokesman, said a Ford F-250 pickup traveling east on Colorado 14 near Weld County 89 about 9:42 a.m. Monday swerved into opposing traffic and sideswiped a Chevy pickup with a horse trailer attached.
