Vehicle Break-Ins Becoming A Big Problem At Trailheads & Parks

DOUGLAS COUNTY (CBS4) – The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office has issued a warning for people leaving their cars unlocked around popular trailheads and parks.
Vehicle break-ins are on the rise in Douglas County, in areas many may not expect, including parking lots of parks and trailheads like the Glendale Farm Open Space.
“It’s kind of surprising to me that someone can get into a car without getting noticed,” said Adrian Benham.
