Vaccine Database Proposal Dies In House

DENVER (CBS4) – A controversial bill that would have allowed the State of Colorado to track children who are not vaccinated has died in the state Capitol.
Currently, parents notify schools if their children are not immunized. The failed bill would have required parents to notify the state which would have been placed in a registry.
The bill passed out of a hearing despite protests from some parents opposed to vaccinations.
