Two climbers rescued from Quandary Peak early Monday

Two climbers had to be rescued early Monday morning after becoming stranded on Quandary Peak in Summit County overnight Sunday.
The pair, whose names were not released, were about 300 feet short of the summit but had been unable to continue due to snow conditions. They reported the situation at 8 p.m. Sunday night, but conditions were deemed too dangerous for them to be rescued that night.
Members of the Summit County Rescue Group team spent the night on the mountain and got the rescue underway
