Turkey Donations Help Families In Need This Holiday

DENVER (CBS4)– The Denver Rescue Mission is asking for frozen turkeys, weighing 12 pounds or more to help those families in need this holiday season. The local non-profit hopes to collect 15,000 by Thanksgiving.
“At this point we only have about 1,000,” said Denver Rescue Mission spokesman Stacy Parker. “We are in need, there is only a couple weeks left.”
