Truck Crash Causes I-225 Backups, Driver In Custody

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – A truck crash that may have been due to a drunk driver was causing large backups on northbound Interstate 225 during the Friday morning rush hour.
The crash happened at 2:45 a.m. at the East Alameda Avenue bridge, and only one northbound lane was open.
After it struck a light pole and a sign, the box truck got stuck between a barrier and the bridge wall.
At 6 a.m. emergency crews were trying to use heavy equipment to get the truck unstuck.
