Trooper’s Injuries Not Serious After Hit-And-Run

DENVER (CBS4) – A Colorado State Patrol trooper who was hit early Tuesday morning during a traffic stop on Interstate 25 does not have serious injuries.
Police say the trooper was hit from behind while he was writing a ticket for another driver in the shoulder just before the exit at 58th.

The driver responsible drove away from the scene and then eventually hopped out of his car and ran away. Police found him a short time later.
Adams County deputies took that man into custod
