Tony Wolters leaves Rockies game with a concussion and Colorado will dig into its depth
SAN DIEGO — Tony Wolters returned to his home town Tuesday to face the team he grew up rooting for. His dad was in the Petco Park seats, watching the Rockies’ No. 1 catcher take on the Padres.
But Wolters’ night ended early when he took himself out of the game in the seventh inning. He was hit in the side of his head by a bat swing and suffered a concussion, Colorado manager Bud Black said.
