THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4)– A Thornton police officer was shot early Wednesday morning and the suspect was shot and killed.It all started about 12:50 a.m. when a Thornton police officer saw a vehicle with no lights on turn into the RTD parking lot at 8703 N.
