This Month May Be Among Top 5 Driest Septembers On Record

DENVER (CBS4)– September may wind up in the top five driest on record in Colorado and also has a good shot at being the warmest on record. This is really doing a number on the fire danger across the state.
Right now there are twelve counties with some type of fire ban or restriction because of the dry hot fall that just began a couple of days ago. Some of those counties include Boulder, Gilpin, Clear Creek, Jefferson, Arapahoe, Elbert and Lincoln.
