Theater Shooting Victim’s Dad Running For Colorado Senate

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. (AP) — The father of a man who was killed in the 2012 Colorado theater shootings is running for state Senate.
Tom Sullivan, who became a face of anguish after his son Alex was killed by James Holmes, announced his run as a Democrat in a heavily Republican district on Tuesday.
