Teens Stranded In Mountains Recovering With Frostbite Injuries

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)– The teenagers, rescued after spending two nights stranded in the mountains, continue to recover at the University of Colorado Hospital with minor injuries, frostbite only to their toes and one thumb.
Rescue crews found Tommy Hendricks, 18, and Matt Smith, 17, on Wednesday afternoon. They hadn’t been heard from since Monday evening when they summited the Mount of the Holy Cross in Eagle County.
