Teen Struck By Semi While Riding Bicycle

BERTHOUD, Colo. (CBS4)– A teenager was struck while riding his bicycle in Berthoud early Tuesday morning. He was rushed to the hospital with serious injuries.
The 14-year-old was riding his bike in the intersection of 10th Street and Welch Avenue just after 7 a.m. Tuesday when he was struck by a semi truck.Larimer County Sheriff’s deputies investigated what happened prior to the collision.Traffic was rerouted around the intersection during the investigation.
