Team Honors Fallen Deputy, Coach At Baseball Game

LYONS, Colo. (CBS4) – The community lost more than a deputy when Park County Deputy Nate Carrigan was killed last month. The high school baseball team lost a coach.
On Tuesday, the Platte Canyon High School varsity team traveled to Lyons for a game, and the home team honored Deputy Carrigan by painting his initials N.C. on the field and their batting helmets.
Platte Canyon, for whom Carrigan coached, has the initials on their hats as well.
