Suspected ‘Bicycle Bandit’ Appears In Court

DENVER (CBS4)– The man accused of riding a bicycle to get away after a series of bank robberies appeared in court on Tuesday morning.
Shawn William Scott was arrested after he allegedly shot at police officers at 3rd and Osage on Monday.

Scott, 39, has been accused of robbing five banks in the Denver metro area over the summer. He was dubbed the bicycle bandit because he sometimes got away on a bike.
