Suspect Taken Into Custody After 8-Hour SWAT Standoff

BROOMFIELD, Colo. (CBS4) – A SWAT situation in Broomfield on Tuesday ended at midnight after more than eight hours of standoff.
Broomfield Police first received reports at noon on Tuesday of wanted suspect in an apartment on Arista Place, near the 1stBank Center. By 3 p.m., they warned the public to stay out of the area as there were reports of a gun.
