Sunshine will come and go this week in Denver, with some midweek rain

Sunshine returns to Denver on Sunday, but more wet weather is expected before Thursday, when temperatures will climb and the sun will shine, according to the National Weather Service.
The weather service issued a freeze warning for Sunday morning in Denver and on the plains. The warning expired 8 a.m., and the rest of the day is expected to be sunny with a high temperature of 53 degrees.
