Strong Wind Gusts Fuel Wildfire Burning In Larimer County

LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)– A wildfire burning in the Bobcat Ridge Nature Area in Larimer County was fueled by strong winds on Thursday evening.
The wildfire started about one mile southwest of Masonville and Horsetooth Reservoir just after 4 p.m.
Fire crews from Loveland Fire estimate the fire at 20-25 acres. Winds were gusting about 60 mph in the area where the fire was burning.
Crews were challenged by difficult access to the fire.What caused the fire is unknown.
