Staying Hot With Scattered Storms To End the Week

DENVER (CBS4) – Thursday turned out to be another hot one – reaching 96 degrees at the airport and 94 degrees downtown. We did see storms around the state, more plentiful over the mountains and west but they never really got going over the metro area or eastern plains. Those that did develop were few and far between and not very strong. Heavy rains in the northwest prompted the issuance of a Flash Flood Watch for the northwest through the late and evening hours.
