Staff Sergeant Based At Fort Carson Dies In Afghanistan

FORT CARSON, Colo. (CBS4)– A staff sergeant based out of Fort Carson has died while serving overseas.The Department of Defense said Christopher Wilbur died on Friday in a noncombat incident in Afghanistan.Wilbur, 36, was from Illinois.He was in Kandahar working with U.S. forces fighting terrorism in Afghanistan.
