Skimmers Found On Self-Checkout Machines At 3 Denver Area Safeway Stores

DENVER (CBS4) – Customers at some Denver area Safeway stores may have had their credit card information stolen.
Skimmers were found attached to the credit card machines in three stores: the Safeway in Conifer, the store at West Colfax Avenue and Garrison Street in Lakewood, and the store at 44th Avenue and Lowell Street in Denver.
The breach happened in early November but was just announced Wednesday.
