Shots Ring Out, Person Found Dead In Car In Ditch

LAKEWOOD, Colo. (CBS4) – A person was found dead in a car after gunshots rang out in Lakewood Saturday evening.
Streets were blocked off in all directions near 9th Avenue and Allison Street for hours for the investigation.
While it is still early in the investigation, Lakewood police say they are investigating it as a homicide.
The incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. When officers arrived they found the car in a ditch. The driver was found shot to death inside, according to police.
