Several Accidents Shut Down Major Denver Highways

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) – Interstate 225 was completely shut down in the southbound direction Friday morning due to accidents.
Two separate crashes occurred on I-225 before 6 a.m., one just south of DTC Boulevard and another at Yosemite Street, causing the southbound direction of the highway to be closed at Parker Road. I-225 was reopened at 7:15 a.m., but not without major backups.
