Settler’s Park In Boulder To Get New Name

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) – Settler’s Park in Boulder will get a new name. The Indigenous People’s Day Resolution passed the Boulder City Council late Tuesday night.
The park is located at the mouth of Boulder Canyon. The renaming is part of a bigger plan to rename Oct. 10, Columbus Day, as Indigenous People’s Day.
The idea behind the park’s renaming is to honor Boulder’s Native American and minority history.
